DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY 1 PRELIMINARY REMARKS This preliminary document contains the static verifications of the self-climbing structures, which have been designed for the core lifting formwork, in regards of the specifications of the project mentioned above. The whole erection and use of the system must be made corresponding to ULMA documents and the accompanying drawings. 2 ADOPTED SOLUTION 21 Specific solution for the, The self-climbing equipment is made up of the following structures: ~ External walls: Self-climbing bracket structures with roll-back devices for stripping. + _ Internal shafts: internal self-climbing bracket platforms where the panels are hanged by means of tie rods from the upper MK structure. Stripping corners are used for de-shuttering. The loads are transmitted to the main structures that are anchored to the concrete by means of recoverable double anchors. The panels are connected with DW15 tie rods ta support the concrete pressure. 22 General description of the ATI ‘The range of products used for the self-climbing system is described as follows: ~ _ ATR Self-climbing Platform system: this system consists of main beams DU-240 s-120 anchored to the wall at both ends and secondary beams made up of MK-120 s-120 profiles my a! ULMA customen:se3ix PROJECT: JEDDAH KEMPINSKI HOTEL UedSch, KSA) DATE: September 2014 ~ Self-climbing Brackets ATR-B. system: this system consists of triangular frames which support the formwork panels. The formwork is joined to the brackets through the roll-back carriage, which is operated to separate the panels from the wall at stripping. This bracket can be also used with “outrigger structure” and hanging panels mrgaie van - Self-climbina Narrow Brackets ATR-N_system: shaft widths of less than 2,5m cannot be solved with ATR-B system. In these cases the narrow brackets are used. When using this bracket, the stripping is always performed by an “outrigger structure” with hanging panels because there is not enough operating space available for the installation of roll-back carriages, uae tteonsts 08 WJULMA customer sex PROJECT.
