(R&B) Div. hui, Vide his letter referred above, two officers of Design circle, along with field officer of Bhuj sub Div. and Rapar sub Div. had visited the route from Khavda to Santalpur on|10- 04-2015 30 AIM OF VISIT:- To propose some structures, that facilitate movement of wild life and water, (such as over passes, underpasses and waterways) that ban mitigate the negative impacts of road such as barriers to wild life and flow of water. 4.0. ‘OBSERVATIONS: - There is an existing road link between Khavda to i {ink is missing between Kundaria to Dholavire through Tagdi Bet. From Dholavir Muvana also there is an existing S.H. link. From Muvana to Vauva through Gadka bet, link is missing. Most of the missing link stretch was noticed covered with salt ‘eb to sit due to drying of saline water at the time of visit 5.0 While passing through this above mentioned proposed road alignmert, it has been observed that at many places, embankment had been provided and Was protected by stone pitching but their slopes are washed away and stones are deteriorated due io salinity of water. Many kilometers of this alignment has|no embankment. 8.0 PROPOSED STRUCTURES: (2) Pipe culverts of 1.20 mt / 1.50mt dia pipe of required nos. where the water depth is below 1.0 mt. for free flow of water has been proposed as per requirement. (© nos. of 2,0mt x2.0mt. may serve the purpose of passage of water. (g) Existing 0.90 mt dia. pipe culverts may be replaced by 1.20 mt. dia.pipe culverts. 7.0 _RECOMMANDATIONS:- (1) Box culverts and Bridges shall be constructed by Portland slag cement and min grade of concrete shall be M 30. Also fusion bonded epoxy coating shall be pov on the reinforcements. Higher concrete cover shall be provided to all reinforcement IRC.
