Reeds rugby coaches feel it is vital that pupils learn both how to deal with setbacks in defeat and also how to win with grace. By being part of a team boys develop attributes such as: self-discipline, respect, communication skil ls, leadership, honesty, courage, hard-work and team-work. These characteristics will help the m to achieve success, whatever path they choose beyond school. Coaching at Reed's is led by a number of qualied coaches, with three ho lding the RFU Level 3 qualication. In addition, Reeds School has become an RFU Accredited Training Centre and regularly has guest coaches from Harlequins RFC. We have strong links with Harlequins and Esher RFC who provide guest coach es. All students have Strength and Conditioning training, delivered by our own specialist coaches, Ben Haining and Jason Ellis-Woodley, included as part of their games sessions. Reeds has also provided a number of county and regional representatives in recent years and we have a proud tradition of representation for the Independent Schools Lambs National XV with three boys in ve years having been asked to tour with this prestigious side rugby
