Mayor Cassetti and in partnership with the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, is evaluating the possibility of implementing Village District zoning under Chapter 124 8-2j of the Connecticut General Statutes. This study will also evaluate the redevelopment potential of two buildings within the Study Area, the Ansonia Armory and 501 East Main Street. This study is funded by a Vibrant Communities Initiative Grant from the Connecticut Trust. Come discuss draft design guidelines for the proposed Village District and evaluate possible redevelopment scenarios for the Armory and 501 East Main Street!
