PipelineProject.
Forthepipelineprojectthequestionishowdoyougofromthegasmine(thestar)tothe
refineryfortheleastamountofmoney.Goingthroughtheprivatepropertyaddsafeepermile,
andgoingthroughthemountainhasaflatcost,alongwithaneightmonthdelay.Thisproblem
canbeseeninthefigurebelow.Thecostofthepipegoingthroughnonprivategroundis
$480,000.Fordrillingthroughthemountaintheaddedcostis$4,500,000ontopofthenormal
pipelinecostof$480,000permile,inadditiontheremustbeanenvironmentalsurveywhichis
$600,000anditwilltakeeightmonthswhichwilladdanadditionalcostof$800,000.Ifthe
pipelinegoesthroughprivatepropertyyouhavearightofwayfeeof$360,000permile.
