The Music Video will be aimed at Teenagers aged 11 to 18; this song is a
hip-hop song. This genre of music is popular within that age group.
The Music Video will show the struggle of people in their daily lives in less
economically developed countries, For example their struggle for finding
food and clean water to drink. The main Artist in the video (Francis
Serumaga) is telling us the struggle for these people through his rap. This
video will appeal to people with a sense of social justice.
Several locations have been visited and a shortlist has been drawn up.
Suggested locations are:
The daisy situated at the back of Glenthorne High School- Main helath
risks are broken glass in the grass or mud that you can slip on.
PDH Studio in Glenthorne High School. 270 Sutton Common Rd, Sutton SM3
9PS
Various Dangers are wires and cables you could trip over or the risk of breaking
all the equipment.
Glenthorne High School itself. 270 Sutton Common Rd, Sutton SM3 9PS
Each of these sequences link together because the video is about the
struggle people have in less economically countries. We can use these
sequences to show the life of those people in different angles and ways.
When we are shooting in the park its a big open space, which shows us
how everybody no matter what race of human we are, we are all one big
community. The park represents the world and that shows the point of us
being one big community. This will create a caring and socially aware
profile for the artist.
Structure
The music video will be in colour and in HD 720p
The music video will start with the Producer giving the thumbs up to the
main artist saying to him that he is ready to record. After this, the shot will
cut to Francis in the studio rapping and then every now and then it flicks
between Francis and the producer acknowledging and saying the
recording is good. This scene will go with the lyrics because the recording
studio is where most music artists are alone and it gives them time to
think about thing so this clip shows the artist thinking of the struggles of
the other people. We will use montage editing to cut between the artist,
the plight of others and the artist in the park.
Schedule
The production will be produced within the timescale that will be indicated by our
shooting and editing schedules. Video Direct will ensure that all location filming
is carefully planned to take into account the safety of the crew and the general

before the suggested release date.
