It allows viewers to be able to focus on more
than one person. Leaving the audience
wondering about whats beyond the frame.
Overall allowing the viewers to have a bigger
picture of the scenery.
The camera angle makes it seem like there is a
division from the superior to the minority. In
the picture the man in the suit is looking down
on the men with the guns, and hats as if he is
the superior. The camera angle elaborates on
that by filming from above, having a higher
angle.
The lighting captures and highlights the facial

expression of the men, and casts multiple

shadows giving the illusion that the men are in a
dark room. The light also brings notice to the
man standing above he is casting a shadow onto
them making him look as if he is the higher
man.

relationship to other characters?
Allows viewers to know the scenery and where
exactly the men are. Giving viewers an idea of
the time because of how dark it is. Allowing the
viewers to choose what to focus on and what to
not focus on.
The men that grabbed onto the kids were filmed
using a mid-shot. Only focusing on the people
who needed to be focused on. Bringing attention
to the children and the man who grabbed the
boy.
Back lighting is used to focus on the person
speaking during the scene. Allowing a better
view of facial expressions and body language.
The low angle shot is used to give an illusion that
the man in the glasses is the superior. It is
almost like taking the POV of the men below and
the kids to capture the film of the man in the suit
and glasses.
The angle is used when filming the boy talking to
the men. Allowing for a more direct focus of
both the men and the boy. Providing a more
straight forward shot of what needs to be
focused on.

shoot the boy moving slightly to the right when

the film began. Slight movement that the camera
follows brings focus to the necessary.
The beginning of the film when filming the boys
about to enter the meeting is filmed from a
distance allowing for a larger frame and a broad
perspective. It is also used towards the end when
the men decide to leave providing the same key
aspects.
Depending what your ears are focused more on
it will allow you to focus on different parts of the
scene. If you are only listening to the voices the
echo of the voice makes it seem like they are
speaking very loudly. If you listen to the
footsteps it makes the audience understand that
the boy is moving a fast pace on hard ground.
Straight cut is used to show the conversation
between the man in the glasses and the kids,
then from the kids to the men with the guns.
Allowing us to focus on the speaker. Giving the
perspective of all characters speaking.
Blur is used when the boy is talking to the man
and the camera is filming from the back. The
men closer to the camera is slightly blurred in
order to focus on the characters further from the
camera. The light boys and the man in the
glasses were more in focus.
