Hazards

Solutions:

Tripping over trailing wires is a major

concern and others and myself will be
navigating the studio.
Hitting ones head on a low hanging light
is a genuine possibility.
Furthermore, as the lights get hot, there
is a risk of someone burning themselves.

Keep all cables tidy and organised and as

far away from the main walk-space as
possible. When finished with a product
that is trailing a wire, it should be
unplugged at the first possible moment.
People entering the studio should also
be made aware of the risk of
disorganised wires.
Everyone in the studio should
understand that there are low hanging
lights and that they must pay constant
attention to where they are walking so
as not to injure themselves.
People must be aware of the dangers of
touching the lights when they are turned
on and cooling down and know not to
touch them.

Additionally, warning signs should be in

place to indicate the low hanging lights, the
heat that they emit and the risk of trailing
cables.
