Key to Success
It is the strengths and weaknesses that separate every individual from the rest of
humanity. Weakness are the areas in which we, as a human race, look down upon and seek to
expose, but our strengths are what give us opportunity to prove ourselves and we wish express
them to our greatest possible ability. I was not surprised to discover my strengths after reviewing
the results of a strengths assessment I took. I always found myself to be a nice, smart, and calm
persona and I was usually complimented for it. My strengths are what motivate me as a person
and drive me to become successful.
Ive always been an easy going person, always wanting to meet new people and create
special bonds with many of those I meet. It's the thrill of meeting new people and hearing
everyones stories that makes me love it. I avoid discrimination and like to include those who are
left out. These are the strengths that help connect me to friends and family.
While being a friendly person, Ive also been known to be a great student, energized by
the learning of concepts that interest me and not only learning about them, but excelling in these

areas. Its my competitive edge that encourages me to strive for that learning experience. My
flexibility also enhances my learning ability, allowing me to adapt and give that competitive
edge.
One of my favorite traits is my calmness, always seeking clear direction, finding the
safest route and trying to anticipate the worst before it happens. As a calm individual, Ive found
myself giving deep thought to even the smallest things. My thinker persona and made me to
believe everything happens for a reason, whether its good or evil. In life every event has a
profound meaning to it.
It is my strengths that will help me succeed after high school. They will help me socially,
educationally, and mentally. I see my competitive edge helping me pursue that college degree
Ive been aiming for and my calamity to keep me safe.
