Abstract: This article is mainly talking about the current Nutrition Labelling
and Education Act it gives information about like when was passed by the congress
and some history about the nutrition facts and what is required to appear in the
food labels. It also talks about how often people use or read the food label. Other
point the author talks is food label in restaurants that now the requirement of food
labelling is to have a large amount of space on a menu or menu board and about a
summary about the restaurant industry. This article helps me answer my cause and
effect question What cause to make us to need food labeling in the food?,
because talks about some history of this policy.
