Also, business owners and real estate agents are interviewed about the effects of the lake on their businesses. These interviews also provide some historical information as well. Because it covers multiple topics to be included in the project, it is an excellent resource to use. However, this video seemed to provide very little information about Lake Norman that could be beneficial to this project. This video acted more as a commercial to draw certain individuals to living in the area and offered information that was too shallow to include in the project. This source also provides information on why the lake was created and who was involved in its creation. Along with historical information, there are other interesting facts that could be useful in the presentation. An example of one of these facts is, “It (Lake Norman) is sometimes called an Inland Sea, with over 520 miles of beautiful shoreline.” Because of the rich historical information and interesting facts, this article is an excellent source for the presentation.
