Objective of the Study:

The objective of the study is to gather practical knowledge regarding Downsizing of a company.
Where the class provides us theories regarding different subjects, practical orientation gives us
the opportunity to view those theories and their implications. More precisely we can identify the
objective of the study:
To have better orientation on Downsizing
Thorough report we can gather theoretical knowledge about Downsizing
Report provides information on the planning involved; the approaches used to reduce the
workforce; and the human resource aspects of the downsizing efforts
Suggested recommendation for organizational improvement through downsizing
activities.

Limitation of the Study:

During the study, I have faced some limitations. The limitations are briefly pointed out below:
Time is the first limitation as the duration of the program. Time is not enough for such
extensive study.
The data that seems insufficient may be suffering from lack of reliability to some extent
The study may suffer for lack of experience.
A single product package
A statistical test is not available because a new body of knowledge is being created
A qualitative research
Estimation of cost cannot be done
