1. The title reflects how the article talks about people being all about
themselves and always engaging in a way to advance their status. Reputation
holds more value than relationships, materials are more important than
morals.
2. Nike athletic wear, designer clothes, top of the line 5-star dining, mansions,
watches, concerts,

4. To show how backwards the world is and how warped the population is due to
technology like social media. The media wants to cover everything popular
thatll catch attention despite the negative counter reaction it may set in
motion.

Setting limits and stating that without a certain brand of clothes or quality of
a house you cannot, and will not be successful in the world.

where you plan to be.
3. To challenge the myth that is working hard produces results 100% no matter
what.
4. It warps what could be really important in life by advertising possession as
power and rank as the way to the good life.
