    hamsters,farmanimals,birds,cats,dogs,andnonhumanprimates.Theseanimals
    undergotreatmentthatcausesthemintensepainandpsychologicaldistress(About
    AnimalTesting).Thehorrorthesepoorcreaturesgothroughyieldsonlyasmallwindow
    ofsuccess.Ninetyfivepercentofexperimentaldrugstestedonanimalsfailinhuman

    forexperimentation(AboutAnimalTesting).Thisnumberdoesnotaccountforsurplus
    animalsoranimalsbredinalabforthepurposeofexperimentation.Theseanimals
    sufferthesametorture,butarenotincludedinofficialstatistics.Researchersare
    breedinganimalstomutilateandtorturethem.Animalsthatarebredtoberesearched
    willnevergettoliveahappyorevennormallife.

    Tosome,animaltestingisseenaswayforhumanitytoconquerdeath,cure
    diseaseandimprovemeansofliving.Theybelievethattheexperimentationanimals
    undergoisworththehumanbenefit.Theproblemwiththispointisthatmostofthe
    time,effort,andresourcesspenttryingtoachievethesegoalsiswasted.Animalsarenot
    thesameashumans.Manyofthedrugsandtreatmentsthatprovesuccessfulina
    differentspecieswillproveuselesswhenusedonhumans.Millionsofinnocent
    creaturesaretorturedandkilledforhumanitysminorbenefit.
    Theworldcanbeatoughandunfairplace.Death,disease,andstarvation,areall
    thingseverytypeofcreaturewillexperienceinlife.Thatbeingsaid,likeeveryother
    creature,humanshavetheirlimitations.Naturaleventsoccurandsometimestheymay
    notfavorhumanity.Whiletheseeventsarehardtodealwith,theyaresomethingthatsa
    partofnature.Humanshavegainedtheabilitytomanipulatethelessdevelopedand
    reapthebenefits.Thehumanspeciesneedstotakeresponsibilityforitsactionsandtry
    theirhardesttoendoratleastminimizethecollateraldamagecreaturesexperience
    duringresearch.
