Today I walked my German Shepard to Barns Park which is the closest to my house. Not many
people were outside but the few that were outside looked alarmed when they saw me walking
with my dog. As we continued walking I began to notice my dog was getting agitated by the
smaller dogs trying to lung at her. As the time passed a saw a woman become tense as I walked
passed her. I smiled to her trying to be friendly and she briskly walked away. I noticed that those
who were walking their own dogs walked across the street quickly to avoid us. It was odd to see
a negative reaction when all I've been getting is relatively positive reactions towards my German
Shepard.

Today I was playing with my dog in my room instead of walking and she decided to play with
her rope. So we deiced to play tug-o-war while she pull on the rope and I tried to pull it away
from her. While its fun and all, I forget how strong she is that she almost pull me off the bed that
I almost fell, but I don't mind that because we just play in the floor. After playing with her rope I
took her outside for a bit so she could run around in the front yard. While she was outside a
mother and two kids passed by and they all looked at Jacksy like if she was a threat and crossed
the street as soon as they got to my drive way.

Today I went to visit my aunts dog to see the difference between the parenting/ training methods
between her and my dog. When I was over there I realized that her dog and my dog were really
different. Her dog was more tame than mine. My pitbull was not socialized as a puppy and when
she finally was around people they would provoke her. Monroe (dog in picture) is more friendly
because she was able to be around other animals versus my dog were she was fighting with every
dog she would see.

Before taking my pit out for a walk I feed her and tried to compare how my dogs have reacted
over the course of this project. I would see that maybe it wasn't only different breeds but it could
be how the breeds are cared for. As I waited to take my dog for a walk I called my aunt about the
last time I went to visit her pitbull. After I walked outside with my dog I walked her for half the
time I usually do then I started throwing her tennis ball around and we played fetch for a while in
our front yard. Neighbors would pass by my house when I walked in to get her a treat and I
witnessed some provoking my dog. I found it a little unsetting that usually I have my German
Shepard and I've never seen my neighbors taunt my pets until the pit was allowed in the front
yard alone.

Today I went to my aunt's house to visit and play with her Pit Bull, her name is Monroe, started
jumping at me and wanted to play, as I saw how she was acting I noticed it would be better if
people saw that Pit Bulls are just like her, and aren't all dangerous as people say. We were
playing with her for a while and then my aunt showed me that she is really trained that she would
listen to her perfectly. She has some toys and she really like playing fetch because she brought
one of her toys to me through it for her to fetch.

April 10, 2016 Salisbury St. 6:20 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.

Today Jacksy made a new friend and they were both playing together and she was so happy,
because usually she doesn't get along with my German Shepard and when she saw the other dog
she was so happy and playful we three were playing the whole time. We played fetch and then
both of them played with the rope and played tug-o-war. The puppy would try and imitate Jacksy
and they would run around the yard back and forth. Id watch them and see how it would look
cute to see that a puppy is just like a child innocent in a way.
