Classroom Management
1. Shows the picture of the scene at the beach (related to the topic) using the
PowerPoint.
2. Get pupils to respond to your actions by asking them questions.
Sample questions:
Where is this?
What are the people doing?
What are the things that you can see in the picture?
3. Teacher clicks on the slide one by one and asks the pupils to name the objects
shown in the slide before showing the words on the slide.
4. Corrects pupils pronunciation if needed.
5. Spell and say the words correctly.
6. Distributes the task sheet. (refer to Appendix 6.1)
7. The pupils are to listen the words says by the teacher and circle the answers to
complete the sentences.
8. Check the pupils answers and the pupils do the corrections.
Managing Mistakes and Errors
If pupils pronounce the words incorrectly/poorly, ask them to stop and correct them on
the spot. Ask the other pupils to say the words together.

Reward and feedback


Praise pupils when they pronounce correctly by giving a thumb up gesture or a thumb
up sticker.
