Parentsallovertheworldarebeinggivenlessandlessofachoicewhetherornotto
vaccinatetheirchildren.Whilesomeparentsaremakingeducateddecisionsagainst
immunizations,manyarebeingbrainwashedintothinkingtherearenooptionsatall.Parents
needtoresearchthelongandshorttermeffectsthatvaccinationscanhaveonchildren,
especiallyyoungchildren.
ChristineandStevenPeloquinaregreatexamplesofparentswhoeducatedthemselves
insteadoftakingthedoctor'swordsascompletetruth.Oneparticulardoctorhadbeenknownfor
pushingimmunizationsonnaive,youngparentsandhaddonesotothePeloquins.Notknowing
anybetter,theygaveintothedoctor,believinghehadalltheanswers.Whentheiryoungest
daughteratthattimeacquiredaseverereactiontothevaccination,theymadethedecisionto
lookfurtherintowhatwasbeinggiventotheirchildren.Theyeventuallycametotheconclusion
thattheywouldnolongerallowdoctorstoinjecttheirchildwithvaccinations.Muchtothe
physician'sdisapproval,theystoodfirmontheirbeliefs.
InaninterviewwithMrs.Peloquin,ChristinestatedthatItisimportanttodoresearchon
immunizationsbecauseweareresponsibleformakingtherightdecisionsforourchildrenand
weneedtomakeeducateddecisionsbasedonwhatweknowaboutvaccinationsandnotwhat
wearetoldorhearaboutthem(personalcommunication,Nov.18,2015).Sherealizedtoolate
thatsomevaccinationsarenothealthyforyoungchildren,andshealmostpaidabigpricefor
notdoingherresearch.
Vaccinationscanbeextremelydangerousorevendeadlywhennotgivenexactdosesor
whenthewrongvirusisgiven.Therearemanysideeffectsandingredientsthatarenotlisted
withthevaccinations.AccordingtoNationalVaccineInformationCenter,Massuseof

chickenpoxvaccinebychildrenintheU.S.hasremovednaturalboostingofimmunityinthe
population,whichwasprotectiveagainstshingles,andnowadultsareexperiencingashingles
epidemic.Thisepidemicisoccurringbecausevaccinationsaredestroyingnaturalimmunity.
Thehumanbodywasbuilttofightoffinfectionsandbuildupimmunitytoviruses.Exposing
deadorlivestrainsofvirusestothebodycanactuallybreakdowntheimmunesystemwhich
couldcauseittostarttoattackitself.
Doctorsandnursesarethreateningparentsandmakingthemfeelinadequateifthey
refusetovaccinatetheirchildren.ShanaKlucksnursethreatenedtocallChildProtective
Servicesonherbecauseshewasputtingherchildshealthinjeopardy.Shealmostquittaking
herchildtothedoctorforfearthatherkidswouldberemovedfromtheirhomebecauseofher
decisions(Kluck,Shana,2010).
Thegovernmenthasrealizedthedangersofvaccinations,andinsteadofbanningthe
unsafeimmunizations,theyopenedupasupportgrouptoreimbursetheparentswhosechildren
diedorwerepermanentlydisabled.Theydontwanttotakeownershipforthemistakesthat
weremade.Peopleloselovedoneseverydayfromvaccinations,andthegovernmentrefusesto
acceptreasoningandtheymakeexcusesfortheoutcomes.
Asawarenessofthedangersofvaccinationsgrowandthepressureformandatory
immunizationsincreases,moreandmoreparentsarefacingthequestion:"ShouldIvaccinate
mychildren(Klicka,Christopher,2012)?Thereisnosetanswertothequestion,buteach
familyshouldcarefullyconsidertheiroptions.Somefamiliesbelievethatvaccinationsare
completelysafe,anditiswrongtonotvaccinatetheirchildren.Itisamatterofopinionandno
onepersoniseitherrightorwrong.Eachparentfeelsthattheyaremakingthebestdecisionfor
theirchildshealthandsafety.

Everyyear,theFDAreceives12,00014,000reportstotheVAERSofhospitalizations,
injuries,anddeathsfollowingvaccinations.Thisdoesnotincludethe10%ofvaccineinjuries
thatarenotreported.Accordingtovaccinemanufacturers,mostvaccineshavenotbeentested
orevaluatedfortheircarcinogenic,mutagenicpotential,orconnectionstoinfertility,andthere
havebeennolongtermstudiesoftheeffectsonachildsdevelopingimmunesystem.
Ifparentsdonotproperlyresearchtheaffectsthatvaccinationscanhaveonchildren,
theycouldbeputtingtheirchildslifeindanger.Thepushtovaccinatetheirchildcanbe
overbearing,butitisimportantforthemtostandfirmontheirbeliefs.Parentsneedtoresearch
allpossibilitiesbeforeallowingthevaccinations.Therearesomanyterrifyingsideeffectsthat
makesitvitaltokeepupwithalltheupdatedinformationonimmunizations.Parentsdecisions
couldsavetheirchildslifeinthefuture.
