AtayoungageIvealwayslovedmath.Thethoughtofhavingachallengingmath
questionandtryingtofigureitoutwouldgetmeexcitedandthefactthatIwouldbeableto
figureouttheanswerwouldmakemeevenhappier.ThisyearoneofthetopicsIreallyenjoyed
waswhenwelearnedaboutsquarerootsandbreakingthemupoutoftheirradicals.Itwas
difficultatfirstbecauseIdidntknowmuchaboutsquarerootingbutastheunitprogressed,I
becamebetterandkeptondoingmanymoreproblems.
ThisyearIfacedadifficultunit.Itwasprobablytheshortestunitbutitwasquitedifficult
butnecessaryduetoPARCC.Itwastrigonometry.Learningtrigonometrywasverydifficultto
mebutinthebeginningitwaseasyandIwasabletodoit.ThankstoMarilynIlearnedsohcah
toawhichmadethedifficultproblemseasy.ItwasdifficultbecauseIwouldntknowwhattodo
aftertheequationwassetup.Also,IwouldgetfrustratedbecauseIwouldgetdifferentanswers
thaneveryoneelseintheclass.ItwasdifficultbutIwasabletoexperienceitandnotgiveupon
it.
Technologywaspartofourclassroom.Whathelpedmethemostthisschoolyearwas
googleclassroom.Imthetypeofstudentwho,Ineverkepttrackofmyagendabutgoogle
classroommadeiteasierformetogobackandcheckupcomingassignments.Ithelpedmestay

ontopicofmyworkandknowwhatIhadtodo.Googleclassroomwasalsoaneasywayto
accessthelinkstothevideoswehadtowatchforhomework.
