1) Randomly call on students to share their examples.
2) Identify the pattern of different part of speech. Eg. ly, tion, tive etc. 3) Play a short reading story video online 4) Slowly go through the script, then pause and identify the uses/ roles of the part of speech. E.g. Usually adjective is use to describe noun 15 mi 1. Tell the students find types of word. There are 10 challenges. 3. Explain how to use it Eg. Click on three nouns in these sentences. And click done when youve finished. When you put the mouse under the picture, you would see a high light pen. And when you click on it, the word will be highlighted. After you click on the answer, press done and it will tell you rather you get it right or not. 4. Tell the class read carefully both getting the right and wrong answer. It will review the definition of the part of speech and give them tips to fine the correct answer.
10 min 1) Using the sentence from that website, scatter the
word and write them down on the board. Have students to write it on the pieces of paper. 2) Do around 4 sets and randomly choose students to write down the answer on the board and check with their answer. 3) If they cannot get them right, I will plan how to teach them better in the next lesson. If yes, have them to read a page of story and write 4 of the sentences in the note book using different color to identify the part of speech.
