Analyzing existing products

This is a chair which can convert into a bench, this product can be very
useful when there is a party or in a meeting. This bench can help with the
problem of the order because this product is easy to save and it fits in anywhere.

This is a simple product but is very useful and effective because when
there is Little toothpaste it is difficult to take out, but with this product now is easy
to take it out, this is a solution for this problem and is easy to make.

In this case this product is to grab the bags in an easier form, the problem
is that sometimes the bag is heavy and to take two at the same time its some
difficult but with this product it is very easy to take two bags in one hands and
other two in the other.

This product is a sprayer, but at difference of others, this one with only put
in the some fruit you want, you only press to the button and the spray will come.
For example in lemon, you put it and then you push and the lemon spray will go
out over the food instad of cutting lemon or using the squeezer.

This cup is useful when you want to drink milk or coffee with some
cookies, you only fill your cup with some drink and then you put he cookies down
and finally you can eat your coffee and cookies in a comfortable way. Thanks to
this space you put it there and you dont need to go for the package.

Justify needs

My name is Gonzalo Salazar, I am coursing 9 th grade at Instituto Anglo

Britanico, our design teacher told us to investigate about products and take one
idea for the Technology Fair, the problem I took is the disorder because it is
affecting to our society and sometimes people do not decide to order their house,
they have all the disorder in there.

Oil Causes Serious Health Problems

As with other toxic chemicals, health problems from
oil may be difficult to prove because they take a long
time to affect people. But most people who live and
work near oil drilling sites and refineries are familiar
with the pollution of air and water from oil. Drilling for
oil, refining it, and burning oil as fuel all lead to many
serious health problems, such as the ones listed
below.

Blurred vision and other eye problems

Headaches, hallucinations, euphoria (sudden
feelings of happiness), tiredness, slurred speech, brain damage, coma
Convulsions and unusual deaths
Nose sores and nose bleeds
Ear infections
Asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia and other respiratory diseases
Lung and throat infections and cancers
Increased risk of TB (tuberculosis)
Heart attacks
Digestive problems, including vomiting, ulcers, and stomach cancer
Damage to liver, kidneys, and bone marrow
Menstrual problems, miscarriages, stillbirths, and birth defects
Skin rashes, fungus, and cancers

Long-term health effects

Oil causes reproductive health problems

Breathing fumes or swallowing food or liquids contaminated by oil and gas

causes reproductive health problems such as irregular bleeding cycles,
miscarriages, stillbirths, and birth defects. These problems may have early
warning signs such as abdominal pain or irregular bleeding.
Oil causes cancer
Regular contact with oil and gas causes cancer. Children living near oil refineries
are much more likely to get cancer of the blood (leukemia) than those who live
farther away. People living in areas where oil is drilled are much more likely to
develop cancers of the stomach, bladder, and lungs than people living in other
places. Workers in oil refineries have a high risk of cancer of the lip, stomach,
liver, pancreas, connective tissue, prostate, eye, brain, and blood.
When Texaco began drilling for oil in Ecuador, cancer was not known in the
region. Forty years later, it is one of the region's worst health problems. In 2 of
the most heavily exploited oil regions of the Amazon, the community health
workers did a survey of 80 communities and found high rates of cancer,
especially cancer of the stomach, bladder, and mouth.
The 10 countries with more cars per capital
For several years cars have become objects of worship, luxury and confidence.
Whether to where we move from the most populous city to the most inhospitable
land always find at least a VW.
It is logical to consider the United States, the cradle of motor transport, as the
country most like feel for cars, however this is not entirely true, according to the
World Bank, are the Europeans who are more attached to their ships.

As you can see there are not thousands, there are millions of cars all around the
entire world. So if every single car uses a biofuel it cam help the environment, but
it affects us.
Contingency in Mexico
The environmental Commission
of the Megalopoli (CAMe)
reported that due to high
concentrations of ozone, the
Phase Pne of the Enviromental
Contingency system has been
activated, meaning restrictions
on the use of vehicles in Mexico
City and the state of Mexico.
The contingency has not been
activated since 2002.
The authorities recommended limits to outdoor activities on all levels of the
school system.
The contingency was declared on March 14 th , 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Today due to
the extreme atmospheric stability associated with a high- pressure system that
has affected the central region of the country during the last three days, along
with the intense solar radiation in the area.

The highest concentrations of ozone were recorded in the southern district of

Cuajimalpa, with 203 points.
In the event that pollution levels in the air are elevated, it starts environmental
contingency. Environmental contingency is applied in order to reduce levels of air
pollution.

Prioritize Research
Hello, we are Cynthia, Pedro, Gonzalo and Grecia we are students at Instituto
Anglo Britncio. We are members of the team Biofuel, You must be asking what
is this biosfuel thing? Let us explain you. What you are about to read it can be
the solution for the environment of our planet.
Biodiesel refers to a vegetable oil - or animal fat-based diesel fuel consisting of
long-chain alkyl (methyl, ethyl, or propyl) esters. Biodiesel is typically made by
chemically reacting lipids (e.g., vegetable oil, soybean oil, [1] animal fat (tallow[2][3]))
with an alcohol producing fatty acid esters.
Biodiesel is meant to be used in standard diesel engines and is thus distinct from
the vegetable and waste oils used to fuel converted diesel engines. Biodiesel can
be used alone, or blended with petro diesel in any proportions. [1] Biodiesel blends
can also be used as heating oil.
The National Biodiesel Board (USA) also has a technical definition of "biodiesel"
as a mono-alkyl ester.

PROCESSOR:
MODERN
BIODIESEL
PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES
Unlike
companies
which
manufacture biodiesel production
equipment (biodiesel processor)
based
on
outdated,
tank
technologies, which have been
used for over a century, CT
Systems Corporations company
uses the high-frequency magnetic
impulse cavitation principle, previously used in classified technologies, allowing
them to achieve some significant advantages:
Low demands on the quality of the raw oil High-frequency magnetic impulse
cavitation reactors work successfully and steadily with both raw and purified oil,
and with all types of animal fats and fat mixtures with vegetable oils. This wide
range of oils (sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, linseed oil, palm oil, mustard oil etc.)
can be used for biodiesel fuel production with almost any acid number and it is
also possible to use waste from livestock and poultry processing plants. The
equipment does not need to be adjusted when the type of oil is changed.
One pass reaction procedure Unlike in outdated tank technologies, no reetherification reaction is needed in magnetic impulse cavitation technology. This
innovation means that the time taken to obtain biodiesel is reduced by a factor of
8-10.
Purifying sorbates, washing and drying are not required When using conventional
technologies, it is not possible to obtain proper quality biodiesel fuel immediately.
Therefore a process of impurity elimination, involving washing or purifying using
sorbates, is needed. This requires additional equipment for primary biodiesel
product washing (a mixture of water and alcohol is usually used for this purpose)
and additional units for what is known as vacuum drying. When the cavitation
biodiesel manufacture method is used there is no need for the finished product to
be washed or dried, and this therefore eliminates waste water and sorbate
utilization processes.
Minimal alcohol and catalyst quantity. No alcohol recovery process One of the
main problems with tank technologies is the need to add, and consequently to
recover, additional methanol to the reactor. This requires additional equipment
and wastes electric power. In cavitation technology, the alcohol quantity used for
the reaction conforms precisely to the stochiometric composition, i.e. the
minimum volume. There is no need for a re-etherification reaction. The use of
expensive and dangerous equipment for methanol recuperation is excluded from
the process. Any inevitable alcohol losses during recovery are eliminated, which
improves the environmental conditions and explosion-proof characteristics.
Uses of Biodiesel :

Biodiesel can be used in pure form (B100) or may be blended with petroleum
diesel at any concentration in most injection pump diesel engines. New extreme
high-pressure (29,000 psi) common rail engines have strict factory limits of B5 or
B20, depending on manufacturer.[9] Biodiesel has different solvent properties than
petrodiesel, and will degrade natural rubber gaskets and hoses in vehicles
(mostly vehicles manufactured before 1992), although these tend to wear out
naturally and most likely will have already been replaced with FKM, which is
nonreactive to biodiesel. Biodiesel has been known to break down deposits of
residue in the fuel lines where petrodiesel has been used. [10] As a result, fuel
filters may become clogged with particulates if a quick transition to pure biodiesel
is made.
Therefore, it is recommended to change the fuel filters on engines and heaters
shortly after first switching to a biodiesel blend.

Creator
In the nineteenth century Rudolf Diesel
(1858-1913) a German engineer, invented
the combustion engine using fuel oil and
from there deployed early versions of a
machine that used peanut oil as energy. In
1970, the biodiesel developed significantly
following the energy crisis and the high cost
of oil, but in 1982 in Austria and Germany,
conducted the first technical tests with this
plant fuel ,1985 Silberberg (Austria) the first
production pilot plant was built biodiesel
from rapeseed or canola.

Use of vegetable oils as diesel

engine fuel
In the foreword to a book titled Diesel
Engines for Land and Marine Work,[11] Rudolf
Diesel states, "In 1900 a small Diesel engine
was exhibited by the Otto company which,
on the suggestion of the French
Government, was run on Arachide oil, and operated so well that very few people
were aware of the fact. The motor was built for ordinary oils, and without any
modification was run on vegetable oil." Diesel went on to say that "I have recently
repeated these experiments on a large scale with full success and entire
confirmation of the results formerly obtained."

BIODIESEL BENEFITS WHY USE BIODIESEL?

The smartest technologies deliver benefits to multiple interests, including

improved economy, and a positive impact on the environment and governmental
policies.
The role of the biodiesel industry is not to replace petroleum diesel, but to help
create a balanced energy policy with the most benefit to the United States.
Biodiesel is one of several alternative fuels designed to extend the usefulness of
petroleum, and the longevity and cleanliness of diesel engines.
The ultimate goal is to contribute to building a stronger, more self-sufficient
community by way of a community-based biodiesel production model. A
community-based biodiesel distribution program benefits local economies, from
the farmers growing the feedstock to local businesses producing and distributing
the fuel to the end consumer. The money stays in the community while reducing
impact on the local environment and increasing energy security.

Easy to Use
One of the great advantages of biodiesel is that it can be used in existing
engines, vehicles and infrastructure with practically no changes. Biodiesel can be
pumped, stored and burned just like petroleum diesel fuel, and can be used pure,
or in blends with petroleum diesel fuel in any proportion. Power and fuel
economy using biodiesel is practically identical to petroleum diesel fuel, and year
round operation can be achieved by blending with diesel fuel.
DOE Biodiesel Handling and Use Guidelines
Engine
and
Vehicles
All diesel engines and vehicles can use biodiesel or biodiesel blends. Certain
older vehicles built before 1993 may require replacement of fuel lines which
contain natural rubber, as biodiesel can cause these lines to swell or crack.
Blending
and
Switching
with
Diesel
Fuel
Biodiesel can be used 100% (B100) or in blends with petroleum diesel fuel.
Blends are indicated by B##, which correspond to the percentage of biodiesel in
the blended fuel. For example, a 20% blend of biodiesel with 80% diesel fuel is
called B20. When biodiesel is first used in a vehicle, it may release fuel tank
deposits which can lead to fuel filter plugging. After this initial period, a user can
switch between biodiesel and petroleum diesel whenever needed or desired,
without modification.
Availability
The presence of biodiesel pumps at fueling stations across the country grows
daily.

Biodegradability
In both soil and water, biodiesel degraded at a rate 4 times faster than regular
diesel fuel, with nearly 80% of the carbon in the fuel being readily converted by
soil and water borne organisms in as little as 28 day.4
What countries currently use biofuels?

Biofuel blends are widely used around the world. The USA, Brazil, Canada, most
European countries, Australia, China, India and Thailand all use biofuel blends
and have done so for many years.

Can biofuels be used in all vehicles?

Modifications are not necessary for petrol or diesel
vehicles using low level biofuel blends. Petrol
engines tuned correctly for use on ordinary petrol
would normally not exhibit any problems with using
bioethanol-petrol blends of up to 10 percent
ethanol. Diesel engines tuned correctly and
regularly serviced would not normally exhibit any
problems with using bio-diesel blends of up to 5
percent biodiesel. Most modern vehicles are
compatible with higher biofuel blend levels.
Owners of new vehicles are able to find out
whether a manufacturer supports the use of
bioethanol in its new cars by asking their representative in New Zealand. A
summary of relevant manufacturer's statements has been made available by the
Motor Industry Association.

What are the costs of owning a biofuel car?

Car purchase costs are unaffected by using
low percentage biofuel blends as no engine
modifications are required. Indeed, standard
petrol and diesel fuels often contain up to 5%
biofuel as part of their specification. The only
caveat is that, as already mentioned, use of
biodiesel blends over 5% can invalidate a
vehicle's warranty, so you need to check with
your vehicle manufacturer/supplier before
using biofuels at more than 5% concentration.
While petrol cars can be modified to use high percentage bioethanol, which costs
several hundred pounds, most bioethanol cars are Flex-Fuel designed to operate
on any percentage of bioethanol up to 85% (E85). Where available, these tend to
be similarly priced to conventional (petrol) models.
Due to economies of scale, forecourt prices of biofuel blends tend to be higher
than those of conventional mineral fuels, depending on the strength of the blend.
Another drawback is that both biodiesel and bioethanol have lower energy
content than petrol or diesel, so more fuel by volume is required per mile. The
result is that using commercially produced high percentage biofuels can increase
fuel costs pert mile.

Where can I buy biofuels and biofuel cars?

Biodiesel is the most widely available biofuel in the UK the website Biodiesel
Filling Stationsprovides a list of UK biodiesel outlets (for all higher percentage
blends). In contrast, there are almost no bioethanol stations in the UK since the
supermarket chain Morrisons stopped supplying E85 in 2010.
For bulk biofuel buyers, a number of UK companies are now supplying blended
and pure biofuels to order. One of these is ATX Fuels who offer B100 complying
to the EN14214 standard.
