Folkingham #2

Walked, 8th March 2016

Leader, Pamela

Distance, 4.5 miles

I have done a recce with Trish it is really nice walk lets hope the weather on Tuesday is kind!
Here is a summary for circulation.

Starting at the Market Street car park (in front of the village shop) in Folkingham, this is a pleasant
walk over undulating land which skirts around the village of Pickworth then goes onto Walcot before
returning to Folkingham.
It is mostly through meadows but some field areas could be muddy.
One section follows the path of a small stream, and then there is a short stretch of road walking and
a gradual incline as we leave Walcot village on our return.

There are about 8 stiles, 2 or 3 which may be tricky for our canine companions - talking of which,
there some large fields which have sheep in and bearing in mind that the ewes are probably in
lamb at this time of year, please be responsible and have the dogs on leads when walking through
these fields.

Length approx.4 miles so allow around 2 hours.
