is a complex formulation of processed Silver, a noble metal and

highly concentrated Hydrogen Peroxide. The Hydrogen Peroxide component
ensures a rapid germ killing effect and the silver component ensures that the
effect is long-lasting. Silver is well known for its oligo-dynamic action (cold

Air Fumigation/ Aerial Fogging :

This potent biocide is diluted at a given concentration and fumigated using a
fogging machine to disinfect a particular area involved with the processing of drug.
Some common airborne microbes that may contaminate the products are Bacillus
sp., Varicella sp., Influenza virus, Variola virus, Rubeola virus, etc.

Water Disinfection :
A recommended amount of the disinfectant is added to water, making it safe for
use to be used during the preparation of medicines. Some common waterborne

PROCEDURE FOR AERIAL DISINFECTION WITH SUREOXYL FOR APPROX. AREA OF 1500 Cu. Ft.

MEDIA FOR ISOLATION:

Plate count agar for bacterial isolation.
Potato dextrose agar/ Saborauds agar for fungal isolation.
Air sampler.
PROCEDURE:
Take plate counts before and after fumigation.
Expose 4 plates in the 4 corners of the room and expose 1 plate in the centre i.e. 5 plates.Take
plate counts after 1 & 2 hours of fumigation.
Aerial disinfection is to be carried out with a ULV Sprayer only. As this machine gives a very fine
mist that even penetrates cracks of surfaces ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR FUMIGATION :
1)

Measure the size of Room to be fumigated in cu. Ft.

2)

Do the Surface / Walls Disinfection with 3%-5% SureOxyl Solution.

3)

Turn On the Air Conditioning System and Maintain the Room Temperature in the Range of 18C to 20C
for 15 to 20 Minutes.

4)

After 20 Minutes Turn Off Air Conditioning System Completely.

5)

Take Food Grade Polythene Bag and Make Solution by Mixing 3ml to 5ml of SureOxyl with 95ml or 93m
of D.M. Water .The dilution should be strictly done with Distilled water or De-mineralized water only to
avoid any precipitation with chlorine which is usually present in raw water.

6)

Place the Food Grade Polythene Bag in to Fogger Tank and ensure that suction pipe is inserted in to
Polythene bag filled with prepared solution in step 5.

7)

Fit the Fogger Tank with Suction Unit.

8)

The angle of the motor is kept at 45 degrees. This can be adjusted with the adjustment knob.

9)

The fogging machine is mounted 2 feet from the floor in one of the Room Corners.

10) Set the timer device to run for 30 Minutes.

11) Put on Main Switch to Start Fogging, (Main Switch is Put ON only after setting time on Timer Device).
12) The flow rate is kept at minimum, varying it depends on the room size and mist required.
13) Ensure that a proper mist is created in the area so that the active ingredient of SureOxyl is suspended in
the atmosphere, thereby giving complete aerial Disinfection.
14) After 30 Minutes of fumigation the room is to be closed for 30 minutes minimum with Air Conditioning
System completely turned off and the plate counts are to be taken after 1 Hour and 2 Hours from the
starting time of Fumigation.
15) The dilution is to be made only during the time of fumigation and the remains of the solution if any
should not be reused. However the remaining solution in the tank if any can be diluted with plane water
and could be used for surface Disinfection.
16) We recommend you to insert the plastic which, is provided to you with the machine in the dilution tank
and then add the solution in it so that there is no contact of the chemical with the tank surface thereby
avoiding any chances of corrosion and further passing on those contaminations in the internal tubes. We
insist that this condition is to be followed strictly which, would enable for better efficiency of the machine
and accurate fumigation results.
17) After every successive fumigation we request you to add plane water and then start the machine for 2
min. This would enable in cleaning the inner tubes and nozzle if chocked.
18) Do not run the machine empty.
