To Whom It May Concern It is my pleasure to recommend Yiklun Kei for admission to the graduate programme. Tam a research associate at the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge. I came to know Yiklun Kei when I was working as.a lecturer in Business Economics st Bournemouth University. We worked together on a project on the application of the gravity ‘model of international trade, focusing on health goods and services. ‘Yiklun Kei is very proactive and self-motivated; his proactive attitude has led him to contact our research team at Bournemouth University and express his interest in joining it. He is always eager to lea and delve into various opportunities to utilise and advance his academic knowledge and improve personal skills and abilities. He is highly intelligent and has good analytical skills. Before he conducted an econometric analysis within the project, Yiktun Kei has undertaken an extensive data management in R statistical software. Then be applied a panel data analysis, in specific Fixed Effects and Random Effects models. He was very diligent, finished all his tasks in a timely manner, and was very proactive throughout the project. In addition, he is an excellent self-leamer and an independent thinker; when he encounters difficult problems, hé is able to consult books and the Intemet to acquire knowledge and skills that are beyond his educational level, but fitted for solving the challenges at hand, When given a task, he often secks every possible method to address the same problem, in order to realise which method can yield the most consistent results. Even when applying a single estimator, he often experiments with different statistical software packages or try to program the calculations mathematically 1o test variations in a statistical analysis, Consequently, Yiklun Kei can always take all factors into consideration and tackle various tasks through multiple perspectives and different econometric models, which will often allow his research to achieve an efficient and optimal solution to problems. When encountered technical problems in a large data computation, he is able to separate the dataset and utilise different statistical software to initiate calculations in parallel to achieve more accurate results in a timely manner. ‘Yiklun Kei has excellent communication and organisational skills. His written work is clear and concise, as well as intefesting to read. He demonstrated his oral erticulateness during regular meetings where we discussed progress of the project and further activities. He is able to successfully complete multiple tasks with favorable results despite desdline pressure. He has consistently demonstrated en ability to rise to any challenge that he encounters. Moreover, Yiklun Kei demonstrated good teamwork skills as he extensively collaborated with three other scholars that also participated in the project. At a personal level, ‘Yiklun Kei is a well-disciplined, industrious researcher with a pleasent personality. Quiet by nature, nevertheless, in disputing matters he expresses himself with great clarity and an immediate grasp of new concepts, and often provides innovative solutions. I would therefore highly recommend Yiklun Kei. Ifhis performance in our project is & {good indication of how he would perform as a graduate student, he would be an extremely positive asset to your programme and would be highly successful during his graduate study. If can be of any further assistance, or provide you with any further inforination, please do not hesitate to contact me. ‘Yours sincerely, aun ff Dr Dragana Radicic Research Associate in Entrepreneurship and Business Evolution Department of Geography University of Cambridge
