Volunteer Work
2010 2011: Ellies Park Riding School

Worked as an assistant riding instructor, leading young riders in lessons and


teaching riders under supervision. Prepared horse for lessons; grooming, tacking
up, and putting away. Cleaned fields and stables, including: replacing water and
cleaning troughs, bundling hay and chaff.
2011 2014: Homestead Breaking, Training & Agistment
Helped to build property, such as setting up fences, cleaning paddocks and the
round yard, building arena jumps. Charged with maintaining property, including
paddocks, troughs, round yard, arena, feed shed, and tack room. Exercised young
horses as well as desensitising them to be sold to beginner riders.
2014 Current: River-Run Breeding & Agistment Centre
Groomed for competitions, involving tasks such as cleaning and preparing float,
and loading horses of show days. Cared for performance horses out at
competitions, and helping riders with their tests or last minute equipment
requirements. Oiled tack and other equipment, and aided with feeding and
transportation of horses.
