‘The unique Gothic Cottage house at 32 North Prospect Street i identified as having been
built e, 1875 on the 1988 MHC Form B prepared by the Pioneer Valley Planning
Commission, It is identified as having been built in 1871 om the Amherst’s Assessor's card
‘The latter is more accurate.
‘The house at 32 North Prospect Street does not appear on the 1860 Walling alas, but it does.
appear on the 1973 Beers atlas showing J. L. Lovell as the owner and presumed occupant.
‘Tax records indicate thatthe house was begun in 1870 and finished in 1871.
