of the learning process. Is a process of collecting and interpreting

making for the progress of learners?

towards performance standards or assessment standards. Develop
learner’s knowledge, skills and values. Identifies the needs of learners.

in teaching
and learning.

 Find out how well learners are learning.

 To gather information about learner’s development.
 Teaching and learning depend on assessment to improve
(your) practice and should be continuous.
 To get a good picture of learners development in the
learning process formally and informally.
