establish what learners. already know
◊ FORMATIVE – that informs the teacher / learners about
their progress.

METHOD ASSESSMENT

asked to assess their own performance.
◊ PEER ASSESSMENT – learners are given criteria and
asked to assess the work of another learner or a group of Learner. . ◊ TEACHER ASSESSMENT – the teacher uses criteria to assess Individual learner or group of learners For different purposes.
◊ ASSESSMENT TASKS – determine level of performance
To gather information about learner’s development. Teaching and learning depend on assessment to improve (your) practice and should be continuous. To get a good picture of learners development in the learning process formally and informally.
