Dear President Blume and Honorable Board Members:

The Ansonia Conservation Commission is concemed with the cutting of trees in the City
of Ansonia without Conservation Commission approval.

The Conservation Commission per the Tree Ordinance states that the Commission has to
approve all cutting of City trees. The Commission is requesting that the Board of Aldermen
refer any future tree cutting to the Commission for review and approval.
