Some Ayats for Shifa

Please recite 3 Daroods at the beginning and end.

And We send down from the Qur'ān

Wa Nunazzilu Mina Al-Qur'āni Mā Huwa that which is a healing and a mercy
to those who believe (in Islāmic
Shifā'un Wa Raĥmatun Lilmu'uminīna Monotheism and act on it), …(Al-
Isra 17:82)

"And when I am ill, it is He who

Wa 'Idhā Mariđtu Fahuwa Yashfīni cures me; (Ash-Shu'ara 26:80)

And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My

Wa Qul Rabbi Aghfir Wa Arĥam Wa 'Anta Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for
You are the Best of those who show
Khayru Ar-Rāĥimīna mercy!" (Al-Mu'minun 23:118)

Is not He (better than your gods)

'Amman Yujību Al-Muđţarra 'Idhā Da`āhu Who responds to the distressed
one, when he calls Him, and Who
Wa Yakshifu As-Sū'a removes the evil,.. (An-Naml 27:62)

Qulnā Yā Nāru Kūnī Bardāan Wa We (Allāh) said: "O fire! Be you

coolness and safety for Ibrāhim
Salāmāan `Alá 'Ibrāhīma (Abraham)!" (Al-Anbiya 21:69)

Wa 'Ayyūba 'Idh Nādá Rabbahu 'Annī And (remember) Ayûb (Job), when
he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress
Massanī Ađ-Đurru Wa 'Anta 'Arĥamu Ar- has seized me, and You are the
Most Merciful of all those who show
Rāĥimīna mercy." (Al-Anbiya 21:83)

…: "I have been overcome, so help

'Annī Maghlūbun Fāntaşir (me)!" (Al-Qamar 54:10)

…: Lā ilāha illa Anta [none has the right

to be worshipped but You (O Allāh)],
Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā 'Anta Subĥānaka 'Innī Kuntu Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above
all that (evil) they associate with You].
Mina Až-Žālimīna Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."
(Al-Anbiya 21:87)

So We answered his call, and

Fāstajabnā Lahu Wa Najjaynāhu Mina Al- delivered him from the distress. And
thus We do deliver the believers
Ghammi Wa Kadhalika Nunjī Al- (who believe in the Oneness of
Mu'uminīna Allāh, abstain from evil and work
righteousness). (Al-Anbiya 21:88)

…Surely, my Lord is Guardian over

'Inna Rabbī `Alá Kulli Shay'in Ĥafīžun all things." (Hud 11:57)

…"Allāh (Alone) is Sufficient for us,

Ĥasbunā Allāhu Wa Ni`ma Al-Wakīlu and He is the Best Disposer of
affairs (for us)." (Aali Imran 3:173)

And put your trust in Allāh, and

Wa Tawakkal `Alá Allāhi Wa Kafá Billāhi Sufficient is Allāh as a Wakīl
(Trustee, or Disposer of affairs). (Al-
Wa Kīlāan Ahzab 33:3)

Is not Allāh Sufficient for His slave?

'Alaysa Allāhu Bikāfin `Abdahu … (Az-Zumar 39:36)

…depend upon Him in all your

Huwa Mawlākum Fani`ma Al-Mawlá Wa affairs] He is your Maula (Patron,
Lord, etc.), what an Excellent Maula
Ni`ma An-Naşīru (Patron, Lord, etc.) and what an
Excellent Helper! (Al-Hajj 22:78

All the praises and thanks be to Allāh,

Al-Ĥamdu Lillāhi Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna the Lord of the 'Alamīn (mankind, jinns
and all that exists). (Al-Fatihah 1:2)

..Allāh is your Maulā (Patron, Lord,

Protector and Supporter, etc.), (what) an
Ni`ma Al-Mawlá Wa Ni`ma An-Naşīru Excellent Maulā, and (what) an Excellent
Helper! (Al-Anfal 8:40)

La Hawla Wala Quwata illa billahil Aliul Azeem

(PS: the Arabic version was given to me by a friend and I thought to add the meanings as well for
us to understand). Hope you find this useful.
