I am a highly organized and efficient worker, capable of supervising

of my professional experience is in non-profit administration, but
for the past year I have been traveling and learning about organic
agriculture; this growing passion has led me to pursue a different
career path in the food industry. I have excellent written and
verbal communication skills and a consistent record of meeting and
exceeding ambitious fundraising goals during my multiple years in
the non-profit world, even in difficult economic climates. In
addition to my development skills and accomplishments, I am
proficient in most office software including Microsoft Office and
QuickBooks and am comfortable working in both PC and Mac-based
platforms.

Farm Intern
 This summer I have been traveling extensively in France and
working on vineyards and goat farms to further my knowledge of
the traditions of wine cheese-making in the south of France.

Garden Intern Coordinator
 On a six-month trip to the Hawaiian Islands, I worked at an
eco-retreat on the Big Island creating a kitchen garden for the
resort and organizing their volunteer farm worker program.

Development Director
 For three years I served as the Development Director for a
small, community orchestra on the Central Coast. My duties
included coordinating direct mail campaigns, writing grants,
securing large personal and business sponsorships and running
special fundraising events. Each year I consistently met my
fundraising goals, annually brining in over half a million dollars
for the organization.
