2003 - in manufacturing of brake lights for heavy vehicles
and trailers
. Involved in 100% export to foreign nations
. Number of machines – initially 13 machines are installed
now they are shiftng to new unit with other 19 machines
. Production capacity - 35000 pieces/month/machine
. Exporting to – middle east nations, Africa, USA, Canada
They have also installed attendance machine to keep a
regular check on workers
Mainly focused on heavy machinery such as trucks mostly
for hill areas where high temperature is required
Process includes 17-18 minutes moulding , baking in oven
for 8 hours then finishes in 2 hours. Take online orders from
outside countries such as new york etc .
They are shifting their new unit to phase -2 where production
capacity will increase from 5400 pieces per day to 13000
pieces per day .
After equipments are manufactured they are send for lab
testing on truck wheels for 4.5 hours with different
temperatures
Out of 25000 pieces 1.28 % are rejected
Raw material is imported from Canada, germany , Bombay
and karnatka
Annual turnover - last year was 10 cr and present year its
18 cr
They are not exporting to Indian states due lack of pay back
ability
Process includes-
First raw materials are mixed then it is discharged in form of
powder with propotion of 320 gm in 1 kg then it undergoes
moulding process under temperature of 170 degree celcius .
production takes 8 hours at temperature of 130-140 degree
celcius then drilling is done to fix on a shoe other includes
finishing, packaging , testing on machines at different
temperatures includes cbs ie cross breaking strength nd
break applying automatic machine , friction coeffcent test rig
, hard disc testing machine den sample r drawn n dey are
painted and final product weighs 18 kg .
