 Self-propelled projectile used as a weapon.
Major classification
 The word Missile comes from the Latin verb Mittere,
meaning "to send".

An air-to-air missile (AAM) is a guided missile fired from an aircraft 


for the purpose of destroying another aircraft/Target

Guidance of this system are different for several types and applications.
