establishment where manual or light industrial
work is done.
• Technology:-The application of science,
especially to industrial or commercial
objectives.
Objective
• To gain the knowledge about the fundamental
process of manufacturing and properties of
different materials.
• About different tools , equipments, machinery
and techniques of manufacturing.
Manufacturing Processes
Ores Metals  Castings or Ingots  Usable Products
1. Primary shaping process( casting, forging, forming, cutting,
rolling, bending, drawing, etc).
2. Secondary process:- for desired shape and dimensional
accuracy.
