Application of voltage control oscilator

Spectrum Microwave Model 96041 is an oscillator for use in
synthesizer applications and was designed specifically for a  TTL Switching
severe military environment. This unit keeps the tuning rate  MIL-Applications
constant over a wide tuning bandwidth without degrading the
phase noise; the frequency band of 1.5 to 2.7 GHz is divided  Rugged Construction
into four bands, allowing very linear tuning over each band. RFI  Commercial Applications
feed-through capacitors are used for the DC voltages. A
common tuning voltage is used to tune all four oscillators. The  Linear Tuning
unit marking is engraved to endure all environments.  Small Size
There are commercial designs available at lower costs. The  10 µs Switching
commercial units use the same milled out housing and circuit

boards; the semiconductors are hermetically sealed but not
screened.
