Speakers
Doug Horton
Doug Horton is an independent management, communications
and technology consultant with over thirty years of government,
corporate and consulting experience. In the food-service area,
he consults on equipment and market development, technology
assessment, purchasing, operations analysis, organization
development, communications and energy management. He is a
popular speaker on energy and food-service topics at professional
meetings and seminars, including those sponsored by industry
trade organizations, energy companies and manufacturers.
Recently, he has been presenting the results of industry research
on commercial kitchen ventilation to national audiences.
Mike Morgan
Mike Morgan is a Sales Development Manager with CaptiveAire
Systems. He has seventeen years of experience in the food-
service equipment industry, primarily with Sales, Marketing and
Product Management of Commercial Kitchen Ventilation Systems.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from
Trenton State College. Prior to joining CaptiveAire, Mike was
involved with product development and marketing of a new
multi-stage grease filtration technology for kitchen hoods. He is
an active member of ASHRAE TC 5.10, Technical Committee for
commercial kitchen ventilation systems, and is involved with the
latest research, laboratory testing and standards development.
