Plastering sand

the local natural sand.

Advantages of Rock Sand

u Higher Compressive Strength: Being uniformly cubical in shape and with
different internal gradation Best Rock Sand lends concrete a higher compressive
strength to with stand greater loads.
u Greater Durability: It has balanced physical and chemical properties that
promise greater durabilities and with stand natures vagaries.
u Less cement: The physical and chemical properties with IS : 383-1970,Best
Rock Sand ensures significant reduction in the cement usage in concreting and
masanory work resulting in a substantial saving on cement cost.
u Purity: Best Rock Sand would be 100 per cent pure and it would not contain
impurities such as clay particles and stones. As it would be double-washed and
silt-free, it would bond better with cement and would require lesser curing time
than any other ordinary sand.
u Availability: Since it was factory manufactured, its availability would not be
subjected to the vagaries of the monsoon.
u No wastage: For getting required fineness module the sand should be sieved.
In routine average wastage of sieving are about 35% and extra Labour cost
involved.
