SOPHOMORE Ca/Cs SERVICE CONTRACT

*To be returned to the LINC office (Ideas Center) by October 6th

I understand that to receive credit for community Service and Career Awareness I am
Responsible for the following:

• Meetings - Attendance at all official meetings with my project leaders beginning September 15th

• Participation – Active and consistent participation in my chosen project throughout the school year
(September to May). Project leaders and site coordinators will take attendance

• Assignments: A journal which will be a personal record of my experiences and

will be turned in with a midterm (due 1/12/11) and at the end of the year
(due 5/19/10).

A typed midterm (due 1/13/10) and typed final paper (due

5/18/11). The assignment can be picked up three weeks before the
due date from project leaders or in the LINC office.

• Any hours completed outside the school-created projects must be documented by a letter from the
program’s director or volunteer coordinator and turned into the LINC office. These include summer
hours and independent projects.

• Representing the school and the program when working in the community - I will do my best,
along with the support from the director and other LINC leaders to ensure that the sophomore members
have a meaningful and successful experience.
