Katunayake in 1991. Eastern Asia is their major market they exports their products to Japan,
America, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Korea, Hong Kong and Europe. Their annual sales volume
is above US$100 Million, currently they are having about 1800 employees.

Products/services

It manufactures Optical Components & Ferrite Products and it does polishing grinding and
slicing of any kind of material. Among these, Attenuators, Circulators, Filter Devices, Hybrid
Isolators, In Line Isolators, In Line Optical Isolators, Optical Filter Devices, Mini Isolators,
Variable Optical Attenuators, Wave Guide Splitters and Waveguide couplers are their major
products. They have earned the ISO 9001:2000 certification and have achieved the ISO
14001:2004 certification due to their eco-friendly production procedure.

Manufacturing Process.

When it commenced operation in Sri Lanka it has produced Magnetic heads for floppy drives.
Now it has been expanded and been diversified product portfolio to Optical Isolators for fiber
optic communication equipments, Ferrite Cores & Rotary Transformers for VCR/Video Cameras.
It has ESD controlled CLEAN ROOM manufacturing environments of class 100, 1000, and 10000.
And their manufacturing process is controlled and measured by computerized systems. And
they have precision cutting & polishing machines for a Micron-order processing system in order
to assemble parts up to the final product.
