Name of “Applicant”__________________________________

Name of “Interviewer”_________________________________

Date:__________________

Length of Interview (min):____________

INSTRUCTIONS: In the space below and on the back, write 9 questions that you feel address the
main points we discussed in the first Interview Workshop. Ask both a few general questions, and
some more specific questions. Leave 2 inches of space between the questions for notes. Pair up
with one of your classmates for a mock interview. This will be a “blind” interview. Use this sheet; in
the space between questions, make notes as you do the interview on good and shaky aspects of the
answers to your questions. At the end of the interview, write up some general comments and share
them with your interviewee. Remember…point out the positives, be kind and constructive, and
point out things to work on. Next, switch roles, and repeat the process. Once you have both
interviewed and been interviewed, staple the two forms together and turn them in for homework
credit.
