How to mod Halo 3 Maps

You will need:

Xport 360 or XSATA
HxD Hex Editor
CON Resigner
Xbox CON rehasher
Xplorer 360
Johnson
Halo 3
Xbox 360

Steps:
1. Create an empty forge map.
2. Place the item you wish to mod. (eg; frag grenade into spartan)
3. Save the map onto your HDD.
4. Connect your xbox to your Pc and extract your map using xplorer. It is located in
Partion 3/Content/(Your profile id)/4D5307E6/00000001. (Your map varient will have
the same date as when you last saved it)
5. Open Johnson and get the id's for your item in the map (frag grenade), and the id for
what you wish to mod into (spartan).
6. Open your map in HxD and using the replace feature swap the id's. (Set databse to hex-
values)
7. Save your HxD map
8. Using the Forge map rehasher, open your newly modded map and rehash it
9. Open the resigner, and resign your map
10. Place your resigned map into your xbox 360 Hdd.
11. Play your newly modded map in Halo 3
(You may need to play another map and then play your modded one for the edits to show
up properly.
