Art for Whose Sake?
What is art exactly and who is it In writing this I claim no secret
for? No one seems to be able to
agree on a definition of
something that we take for
granted daily. “God” is a
concept with much the same
problem; many people
acknowledge it but no one
agrees on what it actually is or
who can have it.
Truth discovered; no absolute
Theory that must be accepted by
everyone. I simply offer an
alternative that all are free to
reject. If you find personal
truth in this, it should not be
because you are a slave to
every proposition contained
herein, but because you see the
potential for a paradigm
explosion! Art is the fusion
between existence and meaning.
It is with us every day in the
colors and forms and sounds
that we experience constantly
and which elicit meaning from
Art for Whose Sake? (cont.)
So what is art and who is it
for? Art is your life; it is
how you see and it is how
you hear; it is the meanings
you give to everything in
your life. Art is in your
relationships with other
people. It is the art in you
and the art in them that is
dynamic and creates and
grows. Lastly, art is not
“for” anyone. It “is”
everyone. It is inside
everyone. Acknowledge
Being: null intension, infinite extension.

God: infinite intension, null extension.

Art: infinite intension, infinite extension.

Being + God = Art
