    This Kaizen document describes improvements made to check relay cards used in machine WBM-2. Previously, checking and repairing the relay cards when issues occurred was difficult. A new relay card checking kit was developed using a testing board with red and green LED lights and microswitches to easily check each relay's coil and NC/NO contact functions. This allows for easy in-house checking and repair of relay cards to avoid sending them to vendors. Benefits include cost savings, improved delivery times, and avoiding short circuits during testing. The testing procedure and circuit diagram for the new checking kit are provided.

    TESTING CARD WORKING INSTRUCTION
    1. Connect the relay card male connector to the female connector the testing board.
    2. Give +24V DC supply to the testing board.
    3. Initially all RED led's should glow means all NC contacts are o.k.
    4. If some of the RED led's are not glowing means respective relay is defective.
    5. Press each microswitch and check each relays one by one.
    6. While pressing the microswitch GREEN led's should glow else some of the Relay NO contact defective or Relay coil failed.
    7. Switch off the power supply and remove the relay card.
