579th Engineer Detachment (FEST-M) Global Support

COMKAF floods engineers with commendations

KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (Nov. 12, 2010) – Eight
members of the 579th Engineer Detachment (FEST-M) received
the Commander of Kandahar Airfield (COMKAF)
Commendation during a private ceremony held last night in
Afghanistan.

Air Commodore Gordon Moulds, COMKAF, presented the


award to the deployed FEST-M members for their hard work
and dedication towards a technical engineering project
completed for Kandahar Airfield.

According to the award citation, each individual researched and


contributed to a technical report, which aims to prevent large
