Steam Path

After Separation of steam from drum, 22 No. inverted-U tubes form Super Heater
Header(SHH-1). From SHH-1 various tube emerges towards SHH-2 forming 1st
Pass Roof. SHH-2 further divided into two header forming SHH-3L & SHH-3R at the
top of second pass (L) & (R) walls. Various tubes emerges from SHH-3L & SHH-3R
from Top to Bottom forming second pass Left & Right walls & Forming SHH-4L
& SHH-4R at the bottom end. These two headers get connected forming SHH-5
forming C-Shape with SHH-4L & SHH-4R.

From SHH-5 Tubes rises from bottom to top forming 3-sets. One Set (one tube from
every three tubes goes straight called Hanger tubes, and get connected to SHH-7.
Second Set of tubes form goose neck with front wall of second pass and get
connected to again SHH-7. Third Set of tube form SHH-6(L) & SHH-6(R), these
header placed inside dead chamber. Tubes from SHH-6L & SHH-6R forms Steam
screen tube and again connected to SHH-7 via an interconnecting header.

From SHH-7 2ND Pass Roof and second pass Rear wall get formed and finally
at bottom SHH-8 get formed. From SHH-8, tube emerges inside second pass near
rear wall and SHH-9 get formed. SHH-9 Outlet is the inlet of LTSH and outlet of
LTSH forms SHH-10. From SHH-10, SHH-11 is formed. Outlet of SHH-11 is the inlet
of PLATEN SUPERHEATER. SHH-12 is formed from outlet of platen superheater. From
SHH-12 , SHH-13 is formed. It is the inlet of Final Superheater and outlet of Final
Superheater forms SHH-14. From this header Steam goes to Turbine via MS Line(L)
& MS Line ( R) via valve MS-49 & MS-50.
