Republican Assemblyman Van Tran Endorses Lucille King for State Senate.
Tran looks forward to working with Kring to create jobs for Central OC.

Anaheim, CA—June 1st, 2010—Republican State Assemblyman Van Tran has joined a growing
number of Central Orange County voters, and endorsed Anaheim City Councilwoman Lucille
Kring in her race for the 34th State Senate District.

Van Tran has represented a large portion of the 34th State Senate district in the State Assembly
since 2004, and is currently waging a campaign to defeat Loretta Sanchez in the 47th
Congressional District.

“Lucille Kring is the fiscally conservative leader that Central Orange County needs,” stated
Assemblyman Van Tran. “I am proud to endorse her, and know that she will be a great partner
in creating jobs and revitalizing our economy here in Central Orange County.”

Lucille Kring has served on the Anaheim City Council for eight years from 1998-2002 and then
again from 2006 to the present. She has built a reputation as a committed taxpayer’s advocate
and a dedicated servant to the community who will bring the same focus on fiscal responsibility
to the State Legislature.

A graduate of Western State University College of Law with a J.D. degree, Kring and her
husband also own and operate a business in Anaheim, experiencing first-hand the issues of small
business owners in a downturned economy.

“I looking forward to working with Assemblyman Tran as he works to bring fiscal responsibility
and accountability for Central Orange County at the Congressional level,” stated Lucille Kring.

Tran joins a growing number of Republicans in supporting Lucille Kring for State Senate all 13
members of the Republican Senate Caucus.
