atom - mobile payments application:

atom™ is a fast, secure, inter-operable and the most convenient way

to make payments using a mobile. It enables multiple merchants to
be available on a common platform, thereby allowing a bank's
customer to make payments across the merchant population using
their credit cards.
All a customer requires is a Java MIDP 2.0, Blackberry or a Windows
Mobile phone to get atom working. A customer can store upto 16
credit cards on a single application. All transactions are authorized
by a PIN and encrypted 'end-to-end' providing maximum security.
atom helps the customer to shift to the next level of security.

Application download & Registration:

— Customer needs to type atom in his / her message inbox and send
to given number 54959.
— Customer will get link for downloading atom application.
— On clicking link the application will get download to customers
mobile.
— Customer needs to follow four simple steps for registration
process.
— After successful registration, the customer will get one atom
unique ID.

 FAQ's

Q. What is atom?
A. atom is a mobile payment application, which allows you to do payments using your mobile phone. It provides a
great level of convenience for doing day to day financial transactions like Ticketing, Mobile bills / Recharge,
Shopping, Fund Transfer, Premium payments, Utility Bill Payments & lots more.
Q. How do I get atom application?
A. SMS <atom> to 54959 and you will get an URL link to download the application on your GSM phone.
The application can be activated using GPRS services.
Q. What is GPRS? How much does it cost us?
A. The GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) system is used by GSM mobile phones, for transmitting IP packets.
Using GPRS we can browse Internet services on the mobile handset. For each transaction you end up spending
few paisas for the data usage charges. For activating GPRS services, you need to talk to your GSM service
provider.
Q. On which mobile phones & network will atom application work?
A. atom application is supported on MIDP 2.0 Java enabled phones, It works with all GSM operators.
Q. What is atom PIN?
A. atom PIN is unique 4 - 6 digit numeric password, which is similar to your ATM PIN, this PIN has to be used to
initiate all transactions and should not be shared with anyone.
Q. What if I don't get any confirmation for registration?
A. In such case, kindly speak to our customer cell at +91-22-26846688.
Q. What are the charges for downloading atom mobile application?
A. atom mobile application is free.
Q. Do I have to submit any documents for downloading atom application?
A. There is no documentation required for atom application.
Q. Can any other person use this application on my phone to do transaction through it?
A. Not unless the person is aware of your atom PIN. You should always ensure that you don't share the same with
any other person.
Q. What if my mobile software gets corrupted?
A. You will have to download the application again & re-register using atom Id and PIN.
Q. Do I need to remember my atom ID or write it down anywhere?
A. You need to remember the atom customer ID, we need to ensure we save the same in secure place so one can
excess in case of any requirement. It is required in case you have to re-register your application because of
change in mobile number or handset. It is stored in “ABOUT” menu of atom application.
Q. What if I change my mobile number or handset?
A. You will have to download the application again & re-register using atom Customer ID & atom PIN.
Q. How much time it would take for registration?
A. Registration process takes normally less then 2 minutes.
Q. Whom should I contact for any issues in the application?
A. Please call our customer care cell at +91-22-40174800.
Q. How many cards can I load in the application?
A. You can load upto 16 Credit Cards in the application.
Q. Can I delete a card from my list?
A. Yes you can delete the card from your application.
Q. What kind of transaction details I will get for the transactions done using atom mobile payments application?
A. You will get all details as part of the digital receipt on the mobile application.
