Entrepreneurship Skill

An MBA course should not only be pursued to get a job or with a view to become a manager rather it
should be pursued to become entrepreneurs who can change the society. Entrepreneurs like Dhirubhai
Ambani, J N Tata, Bindeswar Pathak and many others have contributed a lot to the society. Important
personality traits to become an entrepreneurial leader are as follows:-

1) Roll up your sleeves and help: Be ready to take any challenge and develop a habit of helping
others. Ensure that you and your team share the same DNA.
2) Be a safety net for your team. They should feel safe under your leadership and they will perform
wonders.
3) Be a silent benefactor.
4) Dream big but dream with your eyes open.
5) Be an arm-around-the-shoulder leader. Develop patting habit towards your team members.
6) Supply creates demand. Show your creativity for new inventions according to the needs of
people and demand will be there.
7) Money is not a product by itself, don’t chase it. Rather money is a by-product of good products
and services. If you can provide good products and services money will chase you.
8) Develop faith on your team. Leave the professionals alone and independent. Give them proper
environment and motivate them.
9) Change your orbit constantly, growth has no limit, keep revising your vision. You can do it only
when you can dream it.
10) Optimism-pursue your goals even if you face difficulties. Convert adversities into opportunities.
11) Find a friend in every human being - from PEON to PRESIDENT. Start to converse with anybody,
you will definitely learn something.
12) Think big – dream & dare – there is whole world to win.
13) Hold on to your dreams - persistence and perseverance. Give in, never give up.
14) Bet on your people. Believe on youth, they can make wonders, it requires courage.
15) Be positive, challenge negative forces with hope, self confidence and conviction.

My best wishes to all the readers of this article. I wish if god could make us entrepreneurs and give us
power so that each of us could work successfully for the welfare of at least 1% of the world population.
This way we can serve and elevate 66% of the population. I believe that remaining 34% of the
population would be taken care of by those elevated 66% people and thus the whole world can be
served in direct or indirect manner by NPTIans.
