THE TINY THIMBLE
Read the story.
The Tiny Thimble
Once, there was a girl. She made cloth bags. She sold them at the
market. “Please buy a bag” said the girl, “No, thank you” said the man.
“Please buy a bag” said the girl to an old lady. “I have no money. I only
have this tiny thimble”, said the old lady. “Here is a cloth bag” she gave it
the old lady, “Thank you, little girl”, said the old lady.
Then, she walked home. She held the thimble in her hand. At home,
she showed it to her mother with joy. “Mother, here is a thimble. An old
woman gave me this thimble”, she said to her mother. She put the thimble
on her mother’s finger. Then, her mother began to sew. When the thimble
touch the cloth, the cloth is changing colour. It looks so pretty!
