1.“Research is much concerned with proper fact finding, analysis and evaluation”. Do you agree with
this statement? Give reasons in support of your answer.

2.What is research problem? How do you identify it? What are the main issues involved in it?

3.Explain in detail the different types of research designs.

4.Point out the possible sources of error in measurement. Describe the tests of sound measurements.

5.Explain the different methods of sampling.

6.Enumerate and explain the different methods of data collection.

7.“Interpretation is an art of drawing inferences depending upon the skill of the researcher”. Elucidate.

8.The heights of 10 males of a given locality are found to be 175, 168, 155, 170, 152, 170, 175, 160,
160 and 165 cms. Based on this sample of 10 items test the hypothesis that the mean height of males
is 170 cms.
