    Objectives:
    Students will
    1. Identify Classical composers
    2. Research a composer’s life
    a. Where is this composer from?
    b. What is a famous piece by this composer (be able to find piece for class and play
    on CD, tape, or internet clip)?
    c. What’s one interesting fact about this composer?
    3. Present composers to class
    a. Use PowerPoint (One slide per question)
    b. Create a voki character to share interesting fact about composer (can be any
    character)
    Materials:
    1. Internet
    2. PowerPoint
    3. Voki.com (http://www.voki.com/pickup.php?scid=3253594&height=400&width=300)
    4. CD player
    5. Tape player
    6. Projector
    Class Duration: 1 Day
    Activities:
    1. Choose one composer per student in class from list:

    2. Create slides with each composer’s picture and include:
    a. Where is this composer from?
    b. What is a famous piece by this composer (play this piece for class)?
    c. What’s one interesting fact about this composer?

    3. Assign each student a composer
    4. Assign presentation order
    5. Hand out rubric (accompany with how to for Voki.com and PowerPoint)
    6. Hand out time table with dates
    a. Research a composer’s life
    i. Where is this composer from?
    ii. What is a famous piece by this composer (be able to find piece for class and
    play on CD, tape, or internet clip)?
    iii. What’s one interesting fact about this composer?
    b. Present composers to class
    c. Use PowerPoint (One slide per question)
    d. Create a voki character to share interesting fact about composer (can be any
    character)
