am seven years old, and
my pet is a cat. My cat is
small and grey, it’s name
is whiskers. It jumps,
catch the ball, sits and
run. I love it!

Second grade

Hi! I’m Rachel. I’m 8 years old.

My favorite season is autumn. I
sometimes go to the park with my dad
and our dog. The leaves are yellow,
orange and brown. They fall from the
trees and we play with them.
It’s cool and windy in autumn. We
sometimes wear jackets, and we
sometimes wear hats and gloves. We
always fly our kite and we sometimes
eat sandwiches.
My birthday is in autumn. It’s in
November.

Third grade
Hi, I’m Mr. Jones. I arrive at school at eight o’clock in the
morning. I talk to the students and to the parents. I go to my
room and get all my books ready for the day. I have five different
classes in a day. I see more than 100 students! I don’t take care of
students who are sick and I don’t have keys for all the rooms.

Lions are nocturnal animals. They sleep during

the day and hunt at night. They like to sleep
under the trees. It’s cool there. At night they
hunt for food. They kill other animals and eat
them. They don’t eat vegetables or fruit. They
always eat meat.
Fourth grade

This is my family. We all live together in

the same house in Neiva. The youngest
person is my sister Polly. She is only a
baby. The oldest person is my
grandfather. My mother is the most
beautiful, and my uncle is the most
handsome. My father is the tallest and my
brother Sunny is the fattest. My cousin
David is the thinnest. My grandmother is
the most intelligent. She’s a professor at
the university. My aunt Kyle is the most
modern and my cousin Brad is the
funniest. I love living with my entire
family!

Fifth grade

When you go on a camping trip make sure

you take all the necessary equipment fro
basic survival. Take at least one flashlight
because it can get quite dark at night. You
should check the weather forecast before
you leave to know what clothes to take.
Pack plenty of water and enough bug
repellent or the mosquitoes will eat you
alive. Remember to pack a good pair of
batteries in case you decide to listen to
music and sandals to relax in your free
time. Finally, do not forget to take a tent
and tool kit; these are basic tools for
camping.
